Master Luthier Jeffrey Yong @ Heirlooms Music
We are most privilege to have renown luthier Jeffrey Yong and his friends gracing our humble shop this week. It was a private event among the fortunate few who were treated to a most entertaining and informative talk by Jeffrey. He shared his story and philosophy on his love for building guitars. There were even some fans of his that flew in from overseas just to attend this meet. Jeffrey also presented his latest creations, namely the Lychee model, Mango and the presentation grade Monkeypod guitars. A very special guitar known as a Triple Top was also unveiled, to much excitement, when Jeffrey demonstrated it's boundary pushing construction methods. (Learn more about this when you visit Heirlooms Music) More demonstrations by guitar prodigy Kevin Loh (whom was with his dad Marcus) followed bringing cheers and smiles to the appreciative crowd. The rest of the night were filled with everyone talking and playing Jeffrey's guitars and also many other boutique and vintage guitars that night.
